Attorney Richard Hornsby agreed. “You can almost see the wheels turning in their head, going, ‘Well, wait a minute, if I had that information, I’m not so sure I would have given the opinion I gave to the defense team,” Hornsby said. “That’s just inexcusable in a case of this magnitude.”

Earlier today Hornsby tweeted that he was watching Baez commit career suicide. Unbelievable how his witnesses have been more pro-state than pro-defense. I hate the idea that Casey could get a retrial because of his idiocy (except that she will just be found guilty once again).

I think Baez has completely lost sight of the fact that someones life is at stake here

Kim, my dear old friend….I have oft times not posted because I didn’t want ‘people’ comming down on my feelings ( a VERY sensitive Cancerian).
I will only say , that from Baez’s Openening Statement…I was MORE than sure he WAS going for in-effective counsel…in short a mistrial…and I still believe that…even more so everyday.

He and ‘she’ makes me sick…they will probably share the movie and book deal after the mistrial.
I wish for ‘them’ ALLl that they both deserve…I am totally disgusted by all that is happening with this trial…we WILL NEVER know the TRUTH…and that so very bothers me…and I am sure all of you…Sorry guys for the rant…I just want to say I’M DONE!!!…eventhough I know I will watch this COMEDY tomorrow. 😦

They will get what they both deserve. Of that I have no doubt. If you feel stress, my savannasnanny, please turn it off and rest!

We’ve all talked about the Anthonys and their grief. I’m not sure where they stand now, whether it’s with their daughter in lies or if they are standing with the truth.

But what has to be very difficult for them right now as they attend this trial is watching their daughter’s representative, Baez, make such a fool out of himself and the court. Did he think he would get away with his lack of prep?

Perhaps this would be analogous to watching their daughter dangling off a cliff with only a frayed and fraying rope in the hands of Baez holding her back from her death.

True, Kim. Casey chose her counsel, again and again. Even now, she would stick by him if offered another.

I was only thinking of the parents’ perspective. They knew he was questionable, but to witness him in action would be agony.

But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe their lawyer, or someone else, maybe even Baez told them that this craziness will actually help Casey in some fashion. All his actions feed the media and blog frenzy. It lights Ashton and Perry up. It creates mayhem in the guise of idiocy and inexperience. What culpability does Mason have in all this as the more experienced lawyer? If Baez goes down, will Mason also?

Perry is trying to keep everything in control to prevent re-trial. But Baez is pressing the limits and trying to take them all down.

As far as Casey and Baez are concerned, off – I think C & G tried early on to get Casey to fire him but Casey will exactly the opposite of what her family wants.

Her own stubbornness will do her in
