And in this ring we have ….

This circus has gone on far enough, hasn’t it? Can anything be done to rein in Baez at this point or does he have the ability to just keep rolling along? Regardless of how we personally feel about Casey Anthony she does deserve a fair trial. I wonder if she is getting one …

Court is expected to be held 8:30 a.m. to noon. Perry earlier this week told attorneys to start arriving at 8:30 so they can take up matters before the jury is brought in at 9 a.m.

Good Morning Kim!! Are you at your office or the other?

Baez’s has such a hugh ego and if it weren’t for this I would say he’s trying to throw this trial. But I have had the feeling since the defense started thier case this is what he is doing.

The problem I am having is with Mason. Why doesn’t he step up and put a stop to this? Baez is all about not giving full information – to his team, to witnesses and most importantly to Casey

    Good deal.

I think Mason is standing down because Baez is in charge and this might be his last BIG CASE for him so he’s not rocking his media boat.

At this point I think Mason is disgusted with Baez and maybe, just maybe, a bit pissed at himself for falling for what ever line of bullshit Baez gave him to come on board.

If anything will give Casey grounds for appeal it should be because of Baez’s lying to virtuallyy everyone

      How ironic

I have every reason to believe, that at this point, Mason will simply go along with Baez, so that the Inmate WILL BE granted a new trial due to “Ineffective Counsel”!

I also think, this explains why Bozo is suddenly so OK with being, and looking STUPID!

IT IS the ONLY way, that he can REALLY save the Inmate’s life from here….

His so called DEFENSE has sunk, at this point there is nothing left to do, but go down with a POTENTIAL mistrial, or again, leave it as is, and have her claim “IC” as soon as the verdict is called and she’s sentenced….

Either way – One way or the other….There WILL BE Appeals frm here (Automatic or filed)

The problem with ineffective counsel is that Casey has been repeatedly asked if she wants to keep Baez and she has said yes

Casey has been tested and proven competent. She has chosen her counsel even with reservations from her family.

Baez has also been tested (by the bar) and proven competent. He has been aware of the rules of this particular court, been sanctioned, as well as have been given much patience and tolerance.

Although there will always be those who look at Casey’s youth and sex and pity that she is being taken advantage of, Casey must be held accountable for her (poor) decisions and those of her counsel.

That is what makes Baez and her trial “fair.”

We are all watching – does it come across as fair?

I would never want to try to defend Casey Anthony – ever. But regardless of how I feel a fair trial is the only way to make sure she gets what is coming to her

Different kinds of fair? Under what circumstances would this trial be considered fair?

If the defense went with her original or any of her “stories” no matter who her counsel is, would that give her a fair trial with the stacks of evidence against her?

Does she need a counsel who can make up a better story?

She is getting a fair shake in that she is not protesting her incompetent counsel. She didn’t disagree with his accident fantasy. She is more than likely it’s source.

I totally agree with Off the cuff . Casey could have fired Baez over two years ago before this trial ever started but she wants him and only him to represent her, so she has gotten what she wanted and if he is an idiot then so be it. Casey has seen what an idiot he was way back in 2008 and from then on every time he made an idiot of himself in court. Casey was not an underage kid when she chose Baez to start with, she was 21 an adult and now she is 25 and still wants him to represent her. Maybe Casey should have listened to her Father early on when he wanted to get her another attorney but no she had to have Bozo. I say well she kept bozo so she should be happy.
