Where was her car from the 17th to the 22nd. Surely someone saw her between those dates? How could the State come up with a DP case without knowing her whereabouts for those number of days? This is someone’s fantasy, not believing that Casey could actually do such a heinous and atrocious crime as charged. Why are people trying to find another motive for Caylee’s murder? If it can’t be proven that she was murdered then acquittal it will be. Even with such good prosecutors as we have in this case, there is a lot unsaid and undone to send Casey to the death chamber. I certainly hope there is more to come from the State. I feel they have failed in some way to make it the slam dunk we thought it would be. Is anyone else feeling this way?

Hi Cap. I really had a hard time reading that article too. Is she saying INMATE? The whole story is so fishy. who said it wasn’t Casey backing up the car to the garage? Who told the Detectives what Caylee was last wearing? Did George and Casey say the same outfit? Did Cindy know what Caylee was weariing. Where was her car from 17 – 22? Who are these people who said Casey would take off in the middle of the night with Caylee and return without her? Am I missing something here?

Peter Hyatt is a great man!
He definately has a brilliant mind, and his STATEMENT ANALYSIS of the goings-on in several current Criminal issues are BANG ON!
I love that he enjoys SHARING and TEACHING the art of SA with his readers, and his Radio show on Blog Talk Radio, although short, is often very informative….
I’m surprised you’ve not heard of him before this, or that you haven’t read his blog before….

The supposed “mistress” is most likely someone Baez has paid off to make up the story. Where did she get the $24,000? Probably from Baez. I’m sure Baez has some big book and/or movie deals made, so he has to make this look good in print.
I have a question about the judge. He seemed so adamant to get the trial done quickly, setting dates that he wants things done by (wanted it to go to the jury by June 25th), and so on, then cuts court short one day due to problems with the lawyers, and another half day today due to a previous commitment. First of all, how can a judge rush a trial, and how does he justify the times he has cut the day short if he’s in such a hurry? I would think his pushing for speed on this would be a possible call for a mistrial?

I really believe he took this case with every intention of turning it into what it is today. A launching pad for his new career. He doesn’t give a shit about Casey Anthony and he never did. She is a platform he can stand on and whine from. Once she is convicted other lawyers will handle her appeals. He will be touring the country giving interviews, gearing up for his own show one day.
Casey’s parents had him pegged from day one. they knew how smarmy he was. Casey didn’t listen so now she will sit in prison. That is fine with me however – she does deserve a fair trial and I think he is denying her that
