What’s a mother to do …

Cindy only has one week to get to casey before she is released and goes ‘into hiding’. Will she keep trying? She really needs to speak to casey before they all hit the interview circuit, you know.

It has now come to light though reliable sources in Los Angeles and New York, that Mrs. Anthony has secured a six figure cash advance, for a yet unnamed title.

Kim, I believe Carma has a short leash and will catch up with All of them, especially with Casey.
Let them enjoy it while they can.
They all should be ashamed for profiting from Caylee’s Murder. I guess Money for those People comes before everything else.
No One would even have heard from the Anthony Family or for Baez and his Team if it wouldn’t been for the tragic Death of Caylee.
I guess a Murderer gets rewarded for killing her Child and the money grubbing People in this Case turned into Celebrities, how sad is that!
There is no Way I would help them with giving Money by buying their Books full of Lies.

The truth will never be known, Hilde. These people – all of them – will one day have to answer for all they have done I understand the anger and frustration so many people are feeling right now. Wishing death and destruction on them, in my mind, makes me just like them.

As I said in and earlier post, I will stand back and watch. I will laugh my ass off at ever stumble and fall. I will also do what I can to block any successes they may have to the extent I am able.

This soap opera will sadly continue and be in the news for weeks and months to come. I, like 99% of America, will not cry if I see a news story in which Casey is sued in a civil case or she is charged with a DUI, etc. It is my honest opinion though, that the best punishment we can give Casey (and her screwed-up family) is to IGNORE their very existence. They thrive from the constant media attention which will eventually give them a huge payday. They will suffer more having to go back to mere obscurity in which they would never survive. None of them will ever work again and as far as relationships go, they have burned all those bridges. Let them all go live in a cave with no friends, family, money, or any kind of life. It will be at that point that their “narcicism” will get them in some type of trouble…guaranteed!

Hi kim/manfred, Great caption and love your title. I have learned in life to never say never. If indeed it is even true Casey is shunning Cindy now, with these people could just be a ruse to make people think Casey will never go back home to keep her safe, but let’s say it is true, when casey burns all her bridges one day which she will, she will be crawling back to cindy and cindy will take her back in i have no doubt. if a book gets published though i would never buy it, at least i hope cindy spites casey and gets hers out first as that would kill casey. I too kim will boycott all i can and i don’t want to see or hear, will not watch, any of these stupid juror’s as they have nothing to say i want to hear. Yes this juror #11 is a coward. In my opinion nothing good will come to ANYBODY that makes money off Caylee and i would not want to take a penny off this baby. It is purely wrong in every sense of the word and if your an honest person you will clearly see that.

i believe the tree getting hit by lightening on caylee’s horrible resting place is a warning sign to all that have lied and thwarted the truth from being told about the death of Caylee and all that prevented Caylee from getting justice from her killer Mother and all that celebrated that non-justice and all that are and still want to profit from Caylee. God is not happy.

Well, you know how people are boycotting Casey right now? OK: I fully support that and also won’t be watching any interviews, buying any products or books etc. by Casey, her family, her attorneys, or anyone involved or on “Team Casey.”

But what bothered me the other day was seeing a “Boycott Casey” website with the slogan: “NO PROFITING FROM MURDER.”

I thought to myself: wait a minute. Insurance companies profit from murder DAILY. Where is the outrage there? Why is it that an insurance company can willfully murder people (with the sole goal of profiting), and no one cares? And why is it that when one brings up the concept of universal health care, the far-right starts screaming about “socialism” and their “rights” being “violated” and so on?

People want MORE government (“Caylee’s law,” federal prosecution of Casey) because of a the death of 1 single child, yet adamantly refuse to even entertain the idea of a non-capitalistic health care system, decrying it as “socialism” and “government takeover.”

None of this makes any sense. I can’t even begin to see how people reconcile these ideological positions that (to me at least) make *NO* sense:

-So it’s totally OK for corporations to murder people and profit off their deaths, but it’s not OK for Casey to murder her child and profit off Caylees death?

-So it’s totally OK to introduce additional government legislation to oversee parents (“Caylee’s Law”), continue to prosecute Casey (people are petitioning for a federal trial now), and to prevent jurors from profiting off high-profile cases (sounds like government regulation of capitalism—-albeit on a very small scale—to me), but it’s not OK to regulate private, for-profit health insurance companies. There is no law preventing corporations from profiting off the mass murder of chronically and acutely ill people. There are laws PREVENTING the families of those who have been murdered by insurance companies from seeing financial compensation (i.e. – lawsuits) and/or from prosecuting the insurance companies. And everyone is totally OK with this. Americans have never protested or opposed this system or screamed “Insurance companies must die!” Instead they say things (to me) like: “If you’re sick and can’t afford health care, you deserve to die.” (Yes, someone said that to me). Or I am told I’m “lazy” (no, I am not lazy) or that it’s “God’s will” for me to die. No: it’s not “God’s will” any more than Casey was enacting “God’s will” by murdering her own daughter. It’s not God: it’s other human beings willfully choosing to kill other human beings.

So why is everyone outraged about Caylee but no one cares about the approximately 85,000 people per year in the US who die from lack of health care?

85,000 people per year living in the wealthiest nation in the world die of completely preventable / treatable diseases, and no one cares.

No one thinks there is anything wrong with that.

In fact, if anything, prevailing popular attitude seems to be that sick people “deserve” to die. All I hear is: “Why should I have to pay because you’re sick?”

I’m like: “I have no children and don’t drive a car, yet my taxes pay for your children’s education at public school, and pay for paving the roads you drive your car on. Do you not understand that the definition of a SOCIETY is that we all chip in and help each other?”

But somehow health care is “different.” People always say that: “No. Health care is ‘different.'”

I am going to die in the wealthiest nation in the world because people just. plain. don’t. care.

That makes me angry, because I DO contribute to this society and I DON’T accept that I “deserve” to die simply because I happen to have a chronic, incurable neurological disease.

That’s where I am coming from.

You do realize that if it’s truly universal and everyone pays for it with taxes, it ceases to become some shameful “government handout” and becomes a basic human right instead.

I refuse to take any aid on principle because I refuse to give anyone an opportunity to denigrate me or claim I am worthless, a waste of life—which is what people do now to those who dare avail themselves of any form of public assistance. We shame people for getting sick, or for being poor, or both.

Assuming we all paid taxes into a system designed to benefit everyone, there would be no shame or stigma attached. It would simply be the system in place—like the K-12 system that the vast majority of our children attend and that everyone pays for via taxes.

  44. Xenu
    Jul 10, 2011 @ 15:26:53

Universal health care keeps over all health care costs down. Yes, it’s paid for via taxes, but it is paid for by everyone and free at the point of access. But again, I’ve found that there isn’t much of a point in discussing it with people who are opposed, because it’s not like you’re going to change my mind or I am going to change yours, and basically we will both sit here going back and forth until we are exhausted….and I for one (as you probably know if you know about MS) do not have the energy to spare on a fruitless debate, because I need to conserve energy to get a certain amount of work done today.

So, I guess, let’s just drop it.

51% of Americans do NOT pay taxes. That means that the over burdened 49% of us paying taxes will now have to pay for that as well. I does NOT keep costs down in any way

Actually, Americans have some of the lowest tax rates of any 1st-world nation. We think we have high taxes and we whine about them a lot, but they’re not high when compared with all other developed nations.

I would add that the Bush tax cuts have been the most detrimental, since the upper 1-2% of the country pays little to nothing in taxes. Furthermore, most corporations strategically move overseas, etc. and pay NO TAXES, while being subsidized by people like you and I.

I’m really not into corporate welfare. That’s where your tax money is going.

It’s all good, Xenu – we can agree to disagree 😉
