What the future holds …

Who knew you could lie your way out of murder charges. I guess if you spew enough bullshit you can do anything you want. Lie, steal, cheat – murder your child.

“We’re not going to be her personal security,” Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said on Tuesday at his agency’s wide-ranging and final press conference about the case.

Casey Anthony is only days away from being released from jail and she already faces a new lawsuit and expenses that she may have to pay for the time spent searching for her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

When my daughter, an all A student was in the 6th grade at a new school, she didn’t know where to turn in her absence excuse. I had called her off that day, and had a doctor’s note. Two days later, I got a letter in the mail from the school assistant principal, giving me the name of the social worker who our “file” had been forwarded to! I called the school, and they said that although I had called her off on the phone, the fact that they didn’t receive a written note for the absence made it necessary fodr them to call the social worker! We had never had any sort of issues with attendance, behavior, or any history at ALL of any domestic problems. We’re a middle class, goody-goody family whose shy daughter didn’t ask where to take the note! That was about 6 years ago in Ohio. In Florida, a 2 yr. old goes missing, found dead, and the mom doesn’t get any penalty at all? That’s bull! I don’t blame anyone in this travesty except the jury. The prosecution provided evidence, which they chose NOT to believe. They chose to listen to their speculations and totally ignored everything else. The jury, from what I can tell, was way too young, and perhaps way too influenced by others to do a proper job. Shame on them for allowing a child murderer to walk free! I hope, for their consciences, that Casey never murders again.

They were lazy. Plain and simple. They were in a hurry to get home, back to their gadgets, kids and vacations. If they had felt so damn confident in their verdict they would have spoken at the press conference that was set up right after the verdict.

The way they dressed was an indicator they were done. They never asked any questions and there is no way in hell they looked at any evidence.A baby’s death wasn’t as important as a mans vacation

    What a world, huh

I know from the start there was taflk about juror #4 and her reluctance to judge someone. Why was she on the jury then, especially in a death penalty case? Weren’t the jury members supposed to be “death qualified”? When you’re on a jury, you are supposed to take all of the evidence and testimony and talk it over. That doesn’t mean you talk about your feelings about a certain witness, or if you like the defense attorney, or if you think that young mother was incapable of killing her little girl by looking at her sitting quietly in the courtroom. You look at the EVIDENCE, and the TESTIMONY of the case. They need to be given a final instruction sheet, written in plain English, stating such things as the need to use your own mind, to look ONLY on the EVIDENCE and TESTIMONY of the trial, not to hear an opening statement and use those words to form your opinion before you hear the facts. They need to know that this is not CSI, and that in this case, the time the body, duct tape, and other evidence found at the scene would make finding DNA and fingerprints from the suspect improbable, if not impossible to retrieve. They need to know that you don’t need a cause of death or a motive in order to find a person guilty of a crime. Did these jurors even know that? Did they know it and not care?

LOL Kim! Hilarious! I’m surprised she didn’t use some of the Universal attraction stars’ names, such as “Helen Hunt” from the Twister attraction, or “Jeff Goldbloom” from Jurassic Park. How about some other Universal Orlando “stars” such as “Beetle Bailey”, “Curious George” (hey, maybe she DID use that one.. LOL), “Spongebob Squarepants (he was her best friend there — they had lunch every day), and “Spiderman”. I was at Universal yesterday, and I SWEAR I saw Jesse Grund walking into the park as we were walking in! He was alone, as if he was going to work. Does he work there? Hmmmm…..

From the news investigators’ conference, Kealing highlighted that George Anthony was never a suspect in the case and that defense attorney Jose Baez hindered officers in trying to look into Casey’s claims of being sexually abused by her father and brother.

“We did, in fact, reach out to the Baez law firm and were asked not to approach her at the jail,” Sgt. Eric Edwards said.

    Jul 12, 2011 @ 19:35:02

This would be the witness tampering

“Detectives confirmed they are resuming a criminal investigation,” Kealing said. “At issue: Whether a Texas EquuSearch volunteer named Laura Buchanan, was coached or encouraged to turn in false documents.”

Sgt. John Allen told WFTV’s Kathi Belich said there were still a number of people to be interviewed. “We hope to get to the bottom of that,” Allen said.

What was the Texas Equisearch’s searcher testify to that’s in question? What would happen if it comes back that she did lie? Will she be charged with perjury, or get off like Cindy did?

      • Kim
        Jul 13, 2011 @ 05:24:09

She didn’t testify because it was determined she lied to LE about being in the very spot the remains were found and doctoring the paper work

      Jul 13, 2011 @ 07:00:22

Who would have coached or encouraged her to falsely
claim she searched the exact area Caylee was found?
The Defense of course. I hope Bozo gets caught up in this.

But Melich also told WFTV’s Belich: “How they treated this poor child and how they let this child rot in the woods is inhuman.”

Looks like Equasearch lawsuit looks solid. I like the part
about demanding a jury trial. Baez may have cost Casey
$112,000 dollars. Why has’nt Baez been subpenaed also?
He was in the house when alot of this took place. LMAO

    Jul 13, 2011 @ 06:39:58

If the witness tampering comes down on Bozo, the Spanish
Perry Mason will be disbarred and criminally charged. Would’nt
    that be a hoot. LOL

If Casey tries to slip out of jail in one of several tinted SUVS at
midnight Sunday Morning, why does’nt the press and the public
have several dozen cars to follow each SUV?

Let her go – she will surface soon enough, either to hold court with (ugh) Katy Couric or some place else

My question that has never been answered: WHO is paying
for all this hiding out, private jets, Casey makeover, more lawyers
for civil suits, IRS Liens? If it is the defense team, how long will
they pick up all her bills? I heard her drivers license is expired.
In the State of Georgia once your license is expired for over
a year you have to retake the written and road test. So, if Casey
has no lincense, she would have to be chauffered.GEEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Kim
      Jul 13, 2011 @ 09:16:03

I have no answer for that. I just don’t know who would pay or why they would want to. This creature is toxic

She sidestepped a Van Susteren question about whether Anthony knows about the level of “hatred and vitriol” in the public over the verdict.

“Any conversations between Casey and her attorneys are clearly confidential,” Sims said. “But she’s being taken care of. She will be taken care of.”

Kim I agree. I think Miss Simms assumes Casey will make plenty
of money and pay back those who are helping her now. When the
money does not materialize they will drop her like a hot potato.

    Jul 13, 2011 @ 13:44:57

Kim I can not for the life of me see why the defense team
would spend so much money on the Vulcan Witch. I think
    it is a rouse.

    Karma is worse than jail!

Don’t blame the jury, the defense gave them something to hang on to, like a drowning whether the truth or not! C & J, thru her grandpa under the bus, he was fiesty, he obviously extremely broken hearted!

But the jury got the watered down version, always having to leave the courtroom over ridculous squables!

Prosecution, had a loosely woven story!

  23. Dawgbert
    Jul 13, 2011 @ 14:15:44

I think the defense team drank too much Casey KoolAide.
She is telling them she will change and get help. But, she
will turn party girl as soon as she can.

  24. Kim
    Jul 13, 2011 @ 14:21:16

Dawg, there are many many people who haven’t spent as much time reading documents and such. They became involved when the trial started and tend to have a narrow view point – it’s all good

Kim, I am so sick of the jury and other people defending
this aquittal. There was less evidence in the Scott Peterson
trial and the jury spent 10 days looking at the evidence and
put Scott Peterson on Death row. Casey Anthony should be
    on death row! PERIOD!
