The defamation complaint filed by Kronk attorney Howard Marks seeks more than $15,000 in damages.

“Over the course of two years, defendant Padilla published false and defamatory statements about plaintiff Kronk,” the lawsuit states.,0,295261.story

“Truth is a defense to any defamation suit filed,” Padilla said in a brief phone call Friday afternoon. “In my experience and knowledge of Roy Kronk, he’s a [expletive] liar. I will give them time to add that into their lawsuit.”

LP is as pathological as Casey! Is he trying to deny he made these comments and allegations in public? Seems so. I hope Kronk is successful in this lawsuit.

Good for Kronk. I am tired of seeing him disparaged and ripped apart by the media.

I think a lot of people believed in Padilla. He strikes you as a decent guy off the bat. I just remember, after a few interviews, sensing something “off” about him. He just seemed to be inserting himself into the case too much. In recent interviews he has stated that the Orlando police knew where Caylee’s body was for months and yet simply left it in the woods and did nothing. Of course, he has also accused Kronk of manipulating and moving the body, and so on. I am not sure if he believes what he’s saying or if he’s just famewhoring…but either way, I don’t like it.

He is simply flapping his gums in what ever direction gets him on TV – the old fool needs to challenge Mason to checkers and be done

During the entire three year Casey Anthony disaster, I never heard Leonard Padilla answer any question that was asked of him. Every time someone asked him a quesion, he talked in circles about things that had nothing to do with the question. He’s nothing but a joke. If he had all of the information he claims he had, he should be charged with obstruction of justice. Seems that in hindsight, Padilla knew everything.

HA! I would pay to see a Mason/Padilla checkers match. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It’s snowballing faster than a speeding train! Baez is going to regret all of this in due time.

I think a party is a very positive response amidst all this negativity.

    What exactly is celebrated?
The clearing out of a particular Orlando jail cell and terminated expenses required for that?
The certain satisfaction that the one must now face her world in which many will constantly remind her (like a mirror) of her misdeeds? (a prison in itself, I would think)
A relief that this fixation is almost over (though the outcome has been so disappointing)? The grime must go on, but somewhere else.

I think we should scratch that certain pinata off the list….but keep the ping-pong tournament…

    What exactly is celebrated?

Life. Love and Laughter. Good and true friends.

Things casey marie anthony will never have or ever be able to truly appreciate

Casey is gonna milk Baez for all he’s worth. And, he’s stupid enough and love struck enough to fall for it.

I don’t see it that way, honestly. I don’t think they have actually spent that much time together since the very beginning. The more one on one time with her the more he will pull away.

He is using her, there is no doubt of that. She is his money train. The problem is – I don’t think she will generate the amounts Baez has dancing in his head

Casey will never have a happy life. She will have to hide out
and reports say Baez will set up a LLC to hide her money. If
she does make money, she will have no control over it and she
will constaintly be looking over her shoulder. OJ tried to hide his
assets in a similar way. It took Ronald Goldman’s father over a
year to track down his assets but, Mr. Goldman was relentless.
The IRS and Orange County will be just as relentless. She will
be broke in less than two years. I don’t think Baez wants any of
    the STD”s Casey may have.

Baez is the real winner here….although hated, who do you think the slime of the earth who need a “good” lawyer will hire in the future? Casey was Baez’s ticket to fame and FORTUNE. No wonder he was willing to take the case pro bono! He is laughing all the way to the bank! He couldn’t have bought this amount of publicity! Casey was Baez’s “ace in the hole” and assurance of future “money in the bank”.His name will go down in history now. He went from a relatively unknown prosecuter to an infamous lawyer who successfully defended a murderer. All the slime of the earth will be wanting Baez to represent him in the future…. he will be well paid for it and murderers will continue to walk the streets thanks to lawyers like Baez who think with thier wallet and pride instead of their counscience. The whole team should be ashamed of themselves….they have propelled their carreer at little Caylee’s expense. They have blood on their filthy hands and don’t care as long as they can still hold on to the money. WOW! Everyone looses except the defense team. They should remember that the same slimy murders that they defend and “get off” will be sharing the earth with thier children and loved ones. The defense team members are greedy bastards…..every one of them.

Baez was never a prosecutor – he defended DUI’s and jaywalkers – just sayin

My own opinion is that Baez has bigger plans than simply as a defense attorney – I think he sees himself as the new barfaldo

Does anyone know if Jesse Grund works at Universal? We were there last week and I swear I saw him walking into the park by himself with some sort of name tag on his shirt. If it wasn’t Jesse, then he has someone who looks exactly like him at Universal!
