They believe teachers should be “economical with the truth” when they are asked by their students what their favorite color is, and in fact answer “black” or “brown.”

A spokeswoman for a parent group, Margaret Morrissey, suggested very eloquently that perhaps Anna O’Connor is batsh*t crazy. She said, “I’m sure these early years experts know their field but they seem to be obsessed about color and determined to make everyone else obsessed about it too.”

If the goal is to get beyond skin color down to the content underneath where we are more easily unified, then this kind of silly political correctness sabotages itself by putting the onus squarely back on skin color. It says to the child, what you look like means everything and not what’s in your heart and brain. This teacher may think she is being clever and intuitive, but I can’t imagine how such an initiative could be more antithetical to education, and frankly anymore racist to the people she is trying to help. Setting them up as innocent victims, betrayed by their god given physical attributes is not a remedy, in fact, it could make things much worse; inferiority complexes are created this way. She needs to learn two things: The road to hell is paved with good intentions and if you stick a knife in me by co-mission or omission, the result is exactly the same, I’m still stabbed.

As an AA, If these policies were enacted, I would immediately remove my kid from such a school, tongue lashing every son-of-gun in my way while did it.

I dug through all my files and drawers – I do not have one shred of skin toned paper – either Caucasian, black African, Chinese or even American Indian

I even compared the white paper to my own skin – no match

If that broad is the color of paper she needs to get out in the sun more

Sorry Mr. President, but trying to play both sides of the street doesn’t fly. You are either for or against the anti-capitalist revolutionaries of the Occupy Wall Street movement as they trample the public assembly laws, threaten to clog up the courts with their minions, and literally trample the American flag.

Rashid Khalidi, Obama’s long time brother in the war against freedom, is leading an “occupy” movement in Chicago. The LA Times still refuses to release the video of Obama’s remarks at this notorious Jew-hater’s dinner a few years back. The word is that his remarks were so divisive and ugly that it would have destroyed his election chances in 2008. Which is why the uber-left LA Times refused to release it.

President Cain would be a true celebration of all which has made America great; education, hard work, individuality, character, religious faith and freedom. Such wholesome virtues are deemed corny and repulsive to the left who are typically spoiled brat former hippie rich white kids.

TV news coverage of the Tea Party versus the Occupation Army is so clearly one-sided that it is laughable. Rumors of racism were reported as fact against the Tea Party. Anti-Semitic screeds and outright lawlessness by the squatters are ignored.

Radical anti-government activist and leader of the anti-capitalist #occupy movement, Lisa Fithian, was caught in action at the Occupy Chicago protest on October 10, 2011, training Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) members on how to stage their arrests for the cameras.

NEA and all of the teachers’ unions need to be dismantled. They have become way to radical and powerful from funds they take from their members to spend on the Democrats and other socialist agendas. Its gone beyond caring about the teachers.

It hasn’t been about the teachers in a very long time and sadly, even longer since it has been about educating children. It is now about power and indoctrination

Yeah, one look at the Occupiers and their lack of knowledge about our Constitution and other U.S. documents is proof they know little. They don’t even know how to spell or make a proper peace symbol!

Play socialism all the way out and these OWS-ers will find it something to be much more oppressive. The government is like a leech crying for more and more-it is never satisfied.

He does not deserve more time- nothing good for our nation has gone in the positive direction since he was elected. Even that has surprised me. I figured it would be very good in the beginning of his term-enough to be re-elected-then the nation would be woozy enough to follow him wherever he wanted to take us.
