The United States Can’t Afford Four More Years of President Obama

    Frontline big-city mayors are growing weary of the unruly throngs because of the problems they have created for their citizens and visitors. In Oakland; Atlanta; and Providence, Rhode Island, city officials are taking steps to shut down OWS operations and return their cities to normal. Simultaneously, in an obvious attempt to win over young people before the 2012 election, President Obama told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that “people are frustrated,” and then he offered to forgive student loans and more.

      OWS activists tend to be young, naïve, and foolish, and they have no agenda. The protesters are against things like corporate greed and income inequality, and they are for fairness and taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Few if any of them have a grip on the facts. For instance, in 2008,

      the top 1% of earners in the United States paid 38% of federal income taxes;
      the top 5% of earners paid 59% of federal income taxes;
      the top 10% of earners paid 70% of federal income taxes;
      the top 25% of earners paid more than 86% of federal income taxes;
      the top 50% of earners paid more than 97% of federal income taxes;
      and the bottom 50% of earners in the United States paid less than 3% of federal income taxes.

        They are the truly mind numbed robots of society-they do not know the Constitution nor how economics work in either capitalism or socialism. They utterly trust what their teachers, professors and liberal pundits say at face value because they don’t know how to think critically or reason inductively. They have faith in pseudo-intellectuals but none in God. They are touchy-feely type of citizens just ripe for an iron rule over them. And they want it without knowing it. 😕

        American parents have blindly handed their children over to be indoctrinated for decades without any real concern for what was being taught.
        Read a text book from any sixth grade today and I think it would shock you

        You know, Kim, I would not be surprised. The history of our nation has been revised to leave out the missionaries helping the American Indians and the atrocities of the whites upon them put in its place (with much exaggeration). I have a small collection of history books pre-mid-70s that I use for any debates while “they” use their Wikipedia and the like resources. The other day I had to explain to a U.S. Constitution illterate that there is no “seperation of church and state” according to his definition of it in any American document , let alone the Constitution. He has been indoctrinated to believe that it is freedom from religion that our Founding Fathers meant. Geesh!

        Sherry, that is simply the most common mistake made today! It is amazing to me!

        I carry a pocket Constitution with me just for those occasions

    Shameless community organizer lies, manipulates, stirs up covetousness, and polarizes nation. Spreading discord is his only skill.

      If you’re wondering what sentient being isn’t aware of diapers, you’re missing the point: Connecticut representative Rosa DeLauro is raising awareness of the need for diapers in order to, as Politico reported, “push the Federal Government to provide free diapers to poor families.” Congresswoman DeLauro has introduced the DIAPER Act — that’s to say, the Diaper Investment and Aid to Promote Economic Recovery Act.

        This is the kind of thinking that make me want to cry
        and scream
        and find a deserted island to live on
        just my dogs and me
        and my laptop
        and my microwave

        Oh, I scream, too! “Come, Lord Jesus, come quickly!” 😉

        They do make me glad I’m not younger than I am.
        On the other hand, these people are a minority so far. I believe there are too many in our nation ready to uphold in any way our republic up. Bang-bang! The little socialist whiner is dead. Ahem.

        I think that the little dirty babies who are crying out for violence may well be surprised at the reaction they get.

    The Herman Cain phenomenon is the latest puzzlement of those who think only they’re wise enough and entitled enough to tell the rest of us which fork to use. Mr. Cain’s sin is not that he doesn’t have the usual qualifications for president. Barack Obama established the precedent that presidents can attempt to do the job with on-the-job training. Mr. Cain’s sin is that he demonstrates, with considerable eloquence, that the notion that Republicans and other conservatives are mean-spirited bigots is the enormous lie of conventional media wisdom.

        I think he is pro life and the question came at him out of the blue. Remember, he isn’t a politician so glib answers don’t pop out at will. He was blind sided on purpose

    Democrats have carried Wisconsin in the last 6 presidential elections. Barack Obama carried it by 14 points just three years ago. He was such a lock that the cemeteries were closed on Election Day and Mickey Mouse voted only twice, instead of his usual 14 times.

    America can, in fact and if the Devils wills, afford 4 more years of Obama. We just can’t afford 4 more years of Obama and a Dem-controlled Congress – something we put an at least temporary end to in 2010.

    Obama has proven himself to be petty, narcissistic, selfish, and just plain weak enough to be controlled. As long as Americans do not allow our domestic enemies to remove those controls, we can survive him.

      Hi, Jonolon!

      I would even bet that if we must endure 4 more years that it will bring about a patriotic revival to our nation to return to its republic ideals and stamp out the socialist/communist bent that is prevelent today.
