Speaking your mind is ,,,,,

Between thought and expression lies a lifetime.

Having an opinion that differs from others is a good thing. We learn by listening to the thoughts and ideas of the people around us.
Closing ones self off from differing opinions and thoughts is no way to learn or grow.
We can discuss and debate while having respect and concern for others

can’t we?

It’s so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don’t say it.

We have to try – we have been given the truth. How will anyone know if we don’t try

and keep on trying? I have a son and grand children who will inherit this world and I am honestly ashamed of what it is!!

The way this world is is the reason why my stepson doesn’t want children. I keep my hope in knowing that the children of today may very well be the ones who turn things around for the better. I tend to view the ills of this life as a pendulum-it can only swing so far before it swings back again. The fickleness of man can be a good thing then. We have a responsibility to leave them the treasure of our beliefs and the truth so they can turn to it in due time if they have strayed.

I feel the responsibility of putting my shoulder to the wheel and pushing back as hard as I can. My generation is the one mainly responsible for this mess and I have a mop

With Herman Cain, in three days you’ve got 50 network news stories,” Bozell noted, contrasting the coverage with when Paula Jones “held a press conference and laid out” how Clinton “had exposed himself and told her to perform oral sex on him.” Despite that press conference, Jones “got 16 seconds on one network and that was it,” the Media Research Center founder noted.

The domain is being sold by Mark R. Ellis, 53, of Sarasota, Florida, who makes a living buying and selling domain names. He registered occupywallstreet.net on Sept. 23, six days after the occupation of Zuccotti Park, and listed it on at least two domain resale markets for $10,000.

Ellis said he owns “thousands” of domain names, paying about $9 a year for each.

One resident summed it up perfectly: “This is about the law. They have been given a waiver for too long.”

“It is unconscionable that the Obama administration would stand in the way of honoring our nation’s distinguished World War II veterans,” Johnson said. “President Roosevelt’s prayer gave solace, comfort and strength to our nation and our brave warriors as we fought against tyranny and oppression.”

Roosevelt asked the nation to join him in prayer as U.S. and allied troops launched the invasion that led to the defeat of Nazi Germany. He asked God to give the allied troops courage and faith, saying, “With thy blessing we shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy.”

Looks like God answered that prayer. Now Obama wants to *itchslap Him instead show gratitude…

“This is further evidence that the administration has created an environment that is hostile towards American history – but in particular towards Christianity,” Perkins told Fox News. “I hope America wakes up and realizes what this administration is doing to this country and how they want to radically and fundamentally change America.”

“They want to erase every aspect of America’s heritage,” Perkins said of Obama’s administration. “any president, any official in history that has embraced Christianity, is no longer welcome in this administration. That’s the environment they are creating.”
