Ignoring it doesn’t make it less true

Our country is in a crisis and we can’t hide from it any longer. Pretending it isn’t can’t and won’t make it go away

Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed –

else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.  ~Dwight D. Eisenhower

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic but is morally treasonable to the American public” ~Theodore Roosevelt

Oddly enough, this story was LAST YEAR.

Even odder, Politico NEVER REPORTED it.

This story has legs, a person with a real name and willing to sue. To date, nothing and no one has come forward to make accusation against the black conservative, Herman Cain.

Great quote! My Bible Study today is on stewardship. We do have an obligation to be good and faithful stewards of the nation we have been blessed with living in.

It seems that our nation is becoming filled with ingrates who do not know the history of America nor its documents that has made our nation the best on earth. For those who think they do know, they make it to be as they wish it were.

We need to do our part, much or little, to help educate the younger generation to see just how wonderful life is in the U.S.A.

Topless lesbian nun shower scenes, Catholic priests chasing after young boys, and Jesus in a bar hanging out with topless women in lingerie–that’s some of the stuff in this movie that you’ll never see with Islamic clerics, imams. Hollywood won’t touch them. No topless lesbian scenes with Muslim women or Islamic clerics chasing after imams. Think they’d ever show you Mohammed with naked topless chicks? Dream on.

As Doug Ross put it: “I guess we’re not paying enough in taxes. So we’ll have to pony up 10% more, because we’re deadbeats. The public sector unions deserve even more of our money. Our families don’t need it as much as the unions do.”

A candidate for public office does not have to perform “deftly” when Big Media is in the bag and protects the slimy candidate. What Ben Smith has scrubbed from his analysis is the complicit protection of Barack Obama by Big Media.

Ben Smith knows that the politics of personal destruction will once again be the Barack Obama strategy in 2012. The JournoListers are already in amazement mode as they watch Obama pour mud yet the crease on his pants remains sharp and the shirts stay bright white spotless.

Another ripple in in the Solyndra matter, reported by The Daily Caller, is that the Energy Department paid $1 million to Lazard Ltd., a heavyweight Democratic donor, to see what could be done to bail out Solyndra as it flailed on its deathbed.

Way back in 1968, after the riots at the Democratic Convention in Chicago, Mayor Daley declared that his forces were there to “preserve disorder.” I believe that was one of Hizzoner’s famous malapropisms. Forty-three years later Jean Quan, mayor of Oakland, and the Oakland city council have made “preserving disorder” the official municipal policy. On Wednesday, the “Occupy Oakland” occupiers rampaged through the city, shutting down the nation’s fifth-busiest port, forcing stores to close,

Too big to bail – the assets of the top six banks now equal 63 percent of U.S. Gross Domestic Product, up from just 17 percent in 1995. Re-institute the Glass Steagel Act.

Reasons for the Act – Commercial Speculation
Commercial banks were accused of being too speculative in the pre-Depression era, not only because they were investing their assets but also because they were buying new issues for resale to the public. Thus, banks became greedy, taking on huge risks in the hope of even bigger rewards. Banking itself became sloppy and objectives became blurred. Unsound loans were issued to companies in which the bank had invested, and clients would be encouraged to invest in those same stocks.
