Riots

And Obama and the Dem leadership backs these thugs.

There is a hole being dug in one of the parks and wood is being used to reinforce the area around it. There are reports that nails have been hammered into wood for weapons and that generally there are people in the camps preparing for a confrontation with police.

Some who folded up their tents and tarps said they were leaving for good, worried about the possibility of trouble or even violence if police decide to enforce the 12:01 a.m. deadline set by Mayor Sam Adams for leaving the parks. Others vowed to continue the protest, but didn’t want to lose their gear.

Oakland police handed out eviction notices at an anti-Wall Street encampment and officials elsewhere urged an end to similar gatherings as pressures against Occupy protest sites mounted in the wake of three deaths in different cities, including two by gunfire.

Police first pleaded with and then ordered Occupy Oakland protesters to leave their encampment at the City Hall plaza where a man was shot and killed Thursday.

      Interesting, right?

I just have a feeling it is going to get ugly there. They have been looking for their ‘Kent State’ moment all this time. How freakin sad is that? Someone has to die?

My solace is that there are enough patriots to take out these idiots if need be. The time to worry will be if Obama is re-elected (and if he is it will be by voter fraud).

The problems that beset them in a less-socialist system — lack of discipline, lack of skills, lack of hygiene, lack of not sucking, etc. — would still hamper them in the socialist paradise they clamor for.

And the thing is, the people on top of thing in a capitalist system? Would still be perched near the top of a socialist system. Because even a socialist system winds up promoting people who show up on time, do the tasks assigned to them (mostly looting money from other people), and tuck in their shirts once in a while.

    We’d just all be poorer.

Police evicted the Occupy Salt Lake City protesters who had made Utah’s Pioneer Park their campsite, arresting 19 people Saturday who refused to comply. Despite the arrests, the protesters’ removal was peaceful and no incidents of violence were reported.

Protesters were ordered to vacate after a man was found dead in his tent at the encampment Friday, apparently due to carbon monoxide poisoning and a drug overdose.

A woman protester at the Occupy Philadelphia encampment at City Hall was raped in a tent, allegedly by a man who had traveled from out of state to join the protest, police said.

How many more rapes, how many more deaths, how many more acts of violence have to occur before President Obama and the Democratic Party withdraw their support and condemn these lawless protests?

Liberals like the idea of putting themselves in others’ shoes. Popular redistributionist philosopher John Rawls proposed that everyone evaluate a distributional system as if they did not know where in the new order they would be, so I will adapt that strategy into a system for OWS-sympathizing liberals to determine which protest tactics are out of bounds.

Mimicking the minority tyranny of the “student revolution” (spawned by the Berkeley student rebellion of 1964) the #OWS is hoping the actions of a violent, tyrannical few will throw NYU into chaos. And just as in And in a reat of the left’s war on America in the sixties, the intellectually bankrupt faculty aids and abets these goons. The student occupiers are indeed a product of their education and the leftist philosophers “anti-reason, anti-individualism, anti-capitalism doctrines.”

So let me get this straight: Harvard students are “occupying” the Yard to protest how the 1 percent keep the 99 percent in economic servitude. But the Crimson protest against capitalist oppression is by invitation only, and all the gates on campus have been locked, chained and padlocked to keep out the real 99 percent?

Three dogs residing at the Occupy SF encampment by The Embarcadero have tested positive for a highly contagious disease called the parvovirus, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

The San Francisco SPCA and city Animal Care and Control visited the camp on Monday to offer free veterinary service to the dozens of dogs at the camp, according to the newspaper. Some dog owners took their pooches to the makeshift vet; others accused officials of spreading bad publicity.
