There were lots and lots of disturbing photos I found pertaining to this sad and despicable story. I chose this one for its simple beauty.

Anything else would sicken and disgust you.

Kermit Barron Gosnell is an American doctor in Philadelphia who ran two multi-million dollar abortion practices, alleged to be fraudulent. After a controversy nearly a year earlier, Gosnell was arrested in January 2011, charged with eight counts of murder: one patient who allegedly died under his care after a botched abortion, and seven infants supposedly born alive whose spinal cords Gosnell allegedly severed with scissors. A grand jury recommended charges of murder against Gosnell and several of his employees

A West Philadelphia abortion doctor has been arrested and charged with 8 counts of murder in the deaths of a woman patient and 7 babies. The babies were born alive and then killed with scissors, prosecutors said Wednesday.

The story of Kermit Gosnell is, perhaps, one that even well-meaning people would prefer to block out of their minds. After all, as a Philadelphia grand jury report put it, to talk of Gosnell is to talk of “a doctor who killed babies and endangered women.” Recall this most sickening habit of his: Gosnell would purposely induce the premature births of babies and then “snip” the spines of those premature — but living, breathing, viable — little persons to, as he put it, “ensure fetal demise.” In four decades, Gosnell killed hundreds and hundreds of babies in this way, collecting their severed feet in jars as evidence of his evil.

I read the jury PDF a few months ago – appalling stuff. When ever I hear someone spouting off about choice I want to drag them to this story

I hear all too much about how this is what would happen if abortion were made illegal but I say this is what happens when abortion becomes so bloody common place.

Teach birth control. Teach consequence. Teach people to lift themselves up and make a life for themselves not live off the dole.

Life has become cheap and this is what happens when respect and consequence of actions isn’t made priority

As Dennis Prager said the other night, “The left have a love affair with murder.”

How is this safer than so called back alley abortions? The abortion clinic in my neck of the woods was shut down a few months ago for violations. I hope it stays shut, too. And i hope that investigations into these death mills continues and it is brought to the fore for all to see.

Abortion is an industry. Planned Parenthood passed out bad advice and even worse condoms. When the poor sap who fell for their bull shit line winds up pregnant and ALONE she has no where to go but right back to the perpetrator of the original fraud.
These women are kept poor and uneducated by the system that claims to be doing the most for them. In reality all they systems wants from them is to keep Democrats in power

        pg 49

Kareema Cross testified about the procedure rooms: “The rooms were dirty. Blood everywhere. Dust everywhere. Nothing was clean.” The bathrooms, according to Lewis, were cleaned just once a week despite the fact that patients were vomiting in the sinks and delivering babies in the toilets.

It also describes blood splattered floors and blood stained chairs in the room where patients were made to wait while recovering from their abortions. It shows a nasty looking procedure table, too. So much for being sanitary and safer than backroom abortions!

Somewhere in my office I have a write-up about God’s MO on judging nations. I hope I still have it, anyways, because I’m wanting to put a post up about it. It mentions that there is a spirit of death on our society-a culture of death. No wonder. We are seeing angry young people who have had it over their heads, even if not overtly, that they could have been aborted by their mothers. That does have an affect on our nation. That is one of the consequences of legalizing murder. Life has not got a most precious value to it for the younger generation.

Geesh! He was using filthy instruments on these women! Planned Parenthood should be livid! Bet they aren’t though. From the looks of things the money was not being spent to keep the clinic in good repair. Ugh.

    Dec 13, 2011 @ 19:30:27

Gosnell had a reputation for performing late-term abortions??? And this among other abortion clinics??? THAT’S ILLEGAL!!!

But it was kept hush-hush from the law because its about money, not women! And this clinic PROVES IT!

You know, in my head I picture a “back alley” abortion as one where great care is given due to the fact that it would be murder if the young lady were to die or were to get an infection requiring a doctor’s care which would alert the popo. Now that its legal it seems there’s no care whatsoever in the sanitary conditions of the clinic and instruments. Go figure…

He preyed on poor women and foreign born. They paid cash and once they paid what did he care.

Kim I thought you were a conservative now I know you are

Kim I could not care less if you devote a page to Penn State.
You are the one who said you and your son could not talk about
what happened at Penn State. Obviously, you or your son still
    support Penn State. SAD!

      Dec 14, 2011 @ 10:30:38

I simply don’t see your logic on this, Dawg.

My son and I spent many years preparing him to enter the Penn State football program. It didn’t happen for a variety of reasons and its seems that it was a good thing it didn’t

My son is a grown man. He was raised to know right from wrong and is teaching his children the same

Whether I discuss this issue with him or not it doesn’t change the facts.

Ok, Dawg – that has just gone too far. I am no hypocrite and I resent you coming into my blog and saying such things to me!

Boy Kim you were like me condeming the felon before trial.
Now PENN STATE is off limits. You are a hypocrite.

I never said Penn State was off limits and you are now putting words in my mouth? Why?

So you can come back again to use it against me?

I suggest you get on the phone to either your sponsor or your pastor, Dawg. Your wagon seems to have tipped again

A blogger with a popular pro-abortion blog is urging readers to “support” vocally pro-life NFL quarterback Tim Tebow by donating to a pro-abortion group every time he scores a touchdown this Sunday against the New England Patriots.

“For every touchdown Tebow throws next week … donate $5 or $10 to your local pro-choice organization,” urges ‘Sophia’ of the Abortion Gang blog.

It’s easier to murder an innocent than prevent unwanted pregnancy.

      Dec 14, 2011 @ 15:26:20

You would think with all the money that PP gets that no woman wanting an abortion would have to pay for it.

Proper education along with all of the other social services provided thanks to the American taxpayers would go a very long way toward preventing unwanted pregnancy.

Once a person knows what causes pregnancy and is properly instructed on prevention they should never find themselves in this situation

hi Kim, don’t know if you will remember me, just wanted to say God Bless you and Sherry!!!!!!! i have been pro-life for ever and this blog was awe inspiring!!!!!! no one wants to talk about this, that is for sure!!! good ole Margaret Sanger! what a nut. if you don’t choose life what choice is there! our state started the Personhood amendment and with God’s will someday that will pass, saying a person’s life begins at conception. a lot of hard work has gone into this!!! we have a great Dr. here that does abortions in the 9th month and yes it is legal. this started our down fall, in my opinion. if your baby’s life is worth nothing more than what they charge to kill it, then where do we go from there!!!! love you Kim, haven’t been around since they let Caylee’s murder go free!!! have a blessed Christmas! you too Sherry!!!!!

Today, the Ohio Senate added to what has already been a historic pro-life year by approving HB 79, legislation designed to protect pro-life taxpayers from paying for abortion via Obamacare. This legislation now heads to pro-life Governor John Kasich’s desk for his signature.

With today’s passage in the Ohio Senate, HB 79 will be the seventh pro-life measure enacted in the state of Ohio in 2011.

This is a huge embarrassment to Komen and further exposes its relationship with Planned Parenthood to the general public.

Kudos to Lifeway for doing the right thing. Kudos to pro-life groups, news sources, and blogs for making this an issue.

      Dec 15, 2011 @ 12:19:49

I did a post on it. You know, I had heard about all this pink stuff raising money for breast cancer research a long time ago and thought it was a great idea. Then not too long ago, thanks to you, I heard about Komen giving money to PP for mammograms for the women (which became news because not one machine and not one voucher was given to women for mamographies) and I didn’t put the two together. Thankfully, there are those who are on the ball! But, how mockingly disgusting can one get (OK, Tebow comes to mind) in making pink Bibles for the cause of funding PP through the breast cancer research guise? I expect to see the PP go lower still. Anything to murder a baby.

PP is a huge government scam and like another government scam, global warming, has been exposed.

One by one each of these scams will have the light of day shining on them

He continued, “So it is Congress and voters that must demand Sebelius’ resignation and the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Taxpayer money cannot be used to line the pockets of those with political power who look the other way for the sake of politics or profits when children are getting raped.”

Former Kansas state attorney general Phill Kline, who started the investigations and filed the charges as a district attorney, commented on the new video.

“The evidence was destroyed at a time the Sebelius administration knew the documents were key to a criminal investigation of Planned Parenthood’s failure to report child rape. Planned Parenthood is an important and long-term political ally of Sebelius,” Kline said.

The District of Columbia will not be able to provide locally or federally funded abortions through fiscal 2012 if a policy rider currently included in House Republicans’ appropriations package goes through.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business in Wisconsin is going beyond the pale in its efforts to push its pro-abortion agenda on kids and teenagers — by hiring them to push its sex education agenda on their peers.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin recently posted a job listing indicating it is looking for children as young as 14 to work as sex educators
