Really? REALLY??

America was built by farmers, and to this day, farming is a generational industry for many. So why are federal agencies, led by President Obama appointees, intent on taking steps that will undermine and ultimately destroy our nation’s agricultural heartland?

Under new standards being advocated by the Labor Department, youths under the age of eighteen would be prohibited from working in hay lofts, giving shots, caring for baby animals, and being in the vicinity of animals whose behavior may be “unpredictable.” For the estimated 1.3 million youths living or working on farms, this means no longer being able to perform routine chores if the farm is set up as a corporation or a business partnership. Today, the vast majority of family farms are legally structured in this manner.

Kim, I applaud you for comments on BHO’s tyranny.
But, most Americans do not know anything about
politics. That is why he has not already been impeached.
Sorry for the drunken rampage. I love you like my sister.

You see, the children of farmers are growing up to be independant thinkers and self-sufficient. That is a monkey wrench in their socialist agenda and so, the government must step in and make sure these kids grow up to be like those OWS-ers. Spoiled babies wanting the government to diaper their butts, feed them pablum and make sure they get everything free in life. They are entitled to it!

They called it a Pearl Harbor-style sneak attack, nothing but a phony show of political pandering by the Obama administration, pointing to the lack of specifics in the 22-page report.

“President Obama and the band of his merry men might as well erect their own pink neon sign at the Arizona-Mexico border saying ‘Welcome all illegals to your United States, our home is your home,'” said Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

There goes the 4-H and the FFA. The administration isn’t only after farm kids. For Socialism to work effectively the government has to define the proper way to raise a child. We buy into the feel good mantra of “It takes a village to raise a child” not realizing that also includes the “village idiot”.

Democrats, it seems, are adamantly opposed to asking voters to confirm their identities. Indeed, the DNC’s email claims that requiring voters to identify themselves violates “fundamental rights.”

Now, unless I’ve missed something, there is no fundamental right to vote without identifying oneself. Just as there is no right to board a plane without presenting proper identification. And I’ll bet one cannot get food stamps or government assistance without identification.

That brings me back to my medical saga. As a concerned citizen, I asked at several medical offices whether it was really necessary for them to ask me for my photo identification, and whether they have problems with people who lack such identification.

What I heard was that they do not have any problem, because “everybody” has “photo ID.”

And more significant, I was told by one very competent and polite African-American lady that “photo ID” is necessary because, even with all of the other records, the providers have to protect themselves against “fraud.” Thus, they have to be certain that the individuals who show up for appointments are who they say they are. In their view asking for photo ID is eminently reasonable, something that is expected and not in the least burdensome.

It’s like the lady at the hospital said, asking for photo ID is about preventing fraud — in medical care and in elections. It is just that simple. And the DNC’s partisan claims to the contrary are simply dishonest.
