Only BECAUSE they grew up in our free market system can they have the freedom to protest it.

Mar 05, 2012 @ 08:16:31 has received exclusive tape of an Occupy Strategy Session at New York University, billed as a group talk on “The Abolition of Capitalism.” One of the headline speakers at this session was Stephen Lerner, former leader and International Board Member of the SEIU and frequent Obama White House visitor. Lerner argued in favor of people not paying their mortgages and “occupying” their homes; he spoke in favor of invading annual shareholders meetings to shut them down. But his big goal was to get workers to shut down their workplaces. That’s where the SEIU agenda and the Occupy agenda truly meet: once workers begin to occupy.

Lefties would be wise to check their own arrogance, remembering this “military might” ensures their right to voice their opinions. Journalists not “bitten by arrogance” would also take note that “Act of Valor” is on its way to succeeding with the public, where the long string of anti-war films Hollywood has produced failed.

Oh my. The movie must be causing them to fear. Look at their petty arguments which they inanely back-up, if even that’s considered valid back-up.

And maybe (I HOPE) he would recommend you read Dewey’s post: Political Theatre and the Fluke Files on what’s really going on here. He may note that Liberals are uncannily adroit at finessing their opponents issues – often creating red herring or straw man arguments around them. Their tactic is to circumscribe all of the acceptable terms of the argument, whip it into an emotional frenzy, ward off all rational discussion by demonizing its opponents as Neanderthals and finally, announce the position as official dogma. That clears the way for the MSM’s cabal of talking heads to take over and spew the talking points everywhere, just as Alinsky imagined.

Straw men are critical players when you need a good controversy to whip your base into outrage and frenzy. And nothing gets the boots on the ground to show up at the box office like a good controversy in the theater of the absurd. Church vs. Women’s Rights vs State: that’s a formula for guaranteed heavy turnout.

The demand for new hits in the Left’s political theatre is precisely why we’ve seen the sudden demand for religious organizations to recognize and fund this new “fundamental right.” It’s also why we were entertained by the Fluke/Pelosi circus performance.
