Let’s try this again …

What will the morning bring? Answers, I am hoping!

A surprise “private matter” halted jury selection in Casey Anthony’s first-degree murder trial Wednesday, but the chief judge presiding over the case told the attorneys they’ll pick back up on the process this morning.

Later in the afternoon, Baez told the Orlando Sentinel via a text message: “Today’s adjournment was due to a private matter. Please stop the speculation, as jury selection will continue at 8:30 tomorrow morning. No further statements will be made.”

After that, Baez was spotted smiling with other defense attorneys in his car outside a hotel near the Pinellas County Courthouse.

      Morning Sunshine!

      LOL –
Jst had a flashback chuckle there…

My Mom used to always wake me up
as a child saying those exact words…
And well, let’s just say. I’ve NEVER
      been a ‘morning’ person.
In fact, from as far back as I can
      remember, I’ve always been downright
      MISERABLE!
Her screeching that along with ‘RISE ‘n
      SHINE’ first thing,
used to make my morning’s that
      much worse….LOL!

GM KIM: Did anyone find out why that sidebar yesterday went on so long. I watched the link and it was at least 15 minutes? It looked pretty intense to me. Obviously, it’s not about Casey making a plea. I think she might be trying to dump Baez so the APPEAL will be effective. She’s no dummie.

It has got to be the worst way to wake someone up!

Between my mother with the SUNSHINE, and my brother with his “Did you take your B*tch pill yet this morning?”

It’s no wonder I woke up miserable – Heck, I still do!

      I so get it now;
They caused ‘ir-repairable’ damage to me, and turned me into a night-owl, who absolutely detests morning NOISE!

    GM Louise!

So far I have found no information on the side bar or the reasons behind Baez’s abrupt departure. It is all very curious. If there was an appeal we would know, same for any new motions since they have to be filed. A plea seems very unlikely – to me anyway.

As soon as I know anything I will post it!

Best to swear them ALL in at once.
        That’s including any ALTERNATES they
can get, between now and then.

If they can keep the group as a complete
‘WHOLE’, then they can keep the Alternates
        from knowing WHO they are.

That IS the BEST way, and the best procedure to
follow in this case – Best to keep the Jury NOT
knowing who is who in the panel…

So far, there are 14 viable jurors who could land on the panel that decides Casey Anthony’s fate.

But attorneys on both sides are running out of jurors to question, so just before the noontime break, Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry announced he will bring in 30 new prospective jurors at 1:30 p.m.

Venice, its because she meant that she doesn’t judge anyone on gossip and such since she is a christian. She could judge on guilt or innocence once all of the facts are in. HHJP explained this to the prosecutors. Still, its chancy having her in the jury-I hope she is an alternate and isn’t called upon.
