I see a very disturbed girl, probably some complicated psycological problems, have seen some very extreme things with girls who were abused early in life, her father has all the symptoms of a sexual abuser, her mother all the symptoms of a “pretend it isn’t happening mother-wife”, a very classic codependent pair, I shudder to think of the secrets they hide together, and I do not think Casey deliberately killed her daughter, and I do think her parents know more than we could imagine, maybe someone elsa involved? someone wanted the body to be found near their home, why and who? cjc

I agree with Kim.
My biological father molested and raped me from the time I was around 4 until I was 14. Once he stopped molesting and raping me (I got “too old” for him), he began physically and verbally abusing me on a daily basis. The physical and verbal beatings lasted from ages 14-16.
Finally, I ran away from home and lived on the street for a number of years.
Yet I have never murdered anyone—-much less a child, much less my own child. (I have no children).
Casey is a sociopath, which is very different from having been abused. I resent that she uses “sexual abuse” (which I doubt she ever actually suffered) as an excuse for murdering Caylee and dumping her body in the woods like trash.

She has chosen to wrong and hurt people for her own gain. She did to Caylee what she did to Amy. She used her. Except with Caylee, she went too far. But then Caylee was little and helpless, and ALL hers to do with what she wanted.
For some reason, everyone who does shocking things has to be evaluated and linked into some victim-hood mentality deep into the secret recesses of the family.
The answer can’t be that they themselves are accountable for their own actions. If people can be explained away, then the issue of right and wrong diminishes.
That’s what got Casey off.

What I thought some of the jury members said (and some did say DIFFERING comments) is that they thought her guilty but wanted clearer evidence before pronouncing that for sure.
I don’t consider putting one piece of the puzzle together with another as a “jump to guilt”. There would have to be a lot of expert forensics downright wrong if Casey was just the “fall guy”
Cuman, you said in your 1st post that you didn’t think she deliberately killed her daughter. In your 2nd post, you have her innocent. Yet, you are ready to crucify George as a 100% for sure sexual abuser when you said “he has all the symptoms”. What are these symptoms? You are entitled to your opinions.
George is no saint or even as upstanding as he would like to consider himself. However, I don’t understand your jump to guilt in reference to George.

An emergency hearing this morning in Casey Anthony’s civil case ended quickly: Attorneys spoke privately and the judge announced he is removing himself from the case.
Judge Jose Rodriguez said another judge will handle the defamation case against Anthony. But he didn’t say why.
Attorneys involved in the case left the courtroom and have revealed nothing about what happened during their private discussion with the judge.
