What’s next…

The Occupy movement probably thinks it’s sticking it to the man with this protest, but it’s actually the local stores and their employees who are going to get hit with any of the fallout. Poor sales mean more layoffs after the holiday season. Yet more evidence that the Occupy Wall Street movement isn’t actually interested in combating unemployment and advocating for the middle class.

The same Occupy Wall Street PR geniuses that ruined your morning commute and kept you awake with 24-hour drum circles have invented yet another way to make public life unpleasant in the name of class warfare. They’re calling it “Occupy Black Friday,” and it’s exactly what it sounds like:

Watching Fox News makes people stupid, according to experts at Fairleigh Dickinson University. And if you watch Fox, you’re obviously too stupid to argue with experts so . . . the science is settled!

Of course, the lead author of the study was kind enough to include his phone number on the press release, so if any Fox viewers want to call Daniel Cassino at 973-896-7072, I’m sure he’d be willing to explain to you how stupid you are.

Someone has donated almost a dozen camo-printed blanket outfits–equipped with sleeves–that protesters are using to keep warm, giving the protest an air of a slumber party.

The Chancellor of the UC Davis, Linda Katehi, is forming a task force to investigate the weekend’s pepper spray incident, and called the incident “chilling.” Not only is she apparently unaware of the silly irony in her statement (calling the pepper spray incident “chilling” as opposed to “hotter than hell”), but she is also overreacting to a harmless intervention on the part of the police. She and an outraged media are casting the Occupiers as peaceful victims.

Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.

For weeks now, Republicans have attacked Democrats for voicing support for the Occupy Wall Street protesters, in particular faulting the DCCC for standing up for them. And the incidents of violence and excess have led some neutral commentators to predict that Dems will pay a political price if they align themselves with the movement.

So it’s interesting to see that the DCCC is sticking by Occupy Wall Street. Indeed, the DCCC is now raising money off that recent report of a GOP-connected corporate lobbying firm’s proposed smear campaign against the movement. Nancy Pelosi has authored a DCCC fundraising email that presents this as proof that Republicans are on the side of Wall Street and against Dems and the protesters:

During the dinner a video was taken that shows Barack Obama celebrating with members of this Palestinian group who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gave a toast to a Rashid Khalidi at this going away party. The LA Times will not release the video from this Jew-bashing dinner.

The UC Davis students who were holding the illegal protest on campus last weekend were warned that they would be pepper sprayed by the campus police. Not only that… But you can see in the video below that the students AGREED in the video to be pepper sprayed.

For some reason this didn’t make it into any of the liberal media reports on the incident; just like the fact that the protesters were chanting “f*ck the police” never made it into any reports.

So, what’s Obama’s big campaign strategy to win New Hampshire?

“He’ll be doing his best to make the Republican Party as unpopular as he is,” said Andy Smith, director of the Survey Center at the University of New Hampshire. “I think it points out that the 2012 presidential election is going to be close, and all of the battleground states are up for grabs.”

But I think you’ll have a hard time finding women who aren’t bothered by the kind of bad stuff that happens to women when they’re constantly surrounded by a bunch of scummy, predatory cop-haters: Rape, sexual assault, sexual assault, rape, sexual assault, indecent exposure, sexual assault, gang rape . . . Think Occupy Wall Street is just nonpeaceable assembly of malcontents and miscreants literally infesting American cities?

Think again. The OWS agenda is now law of the land in the form of a government agency called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau .

The CFPB was created under the Dodd-Frank financial — ahem — “reform” legislation when Democrats controlled both chambers of Congress in 2009. The law was signed by President Obama, who manages to simultaneously be Goldman-Sachs’ best friend and an OWS sympathizer.

The Heritage Foundation described the CFPB as “largely unaccountable to Congress,” and that it is the “epitome of regulatory excess.”

George Mason University law professor Todd Zywicki, speaking recently at a Federalist Society conference, called the CFPB “the most powerful [bureaucracy] in U.S. history,” and said that “if you sat down and designed an agency with all the pathologies of bureaucracies, the CFPB would embody it.”

Interestingly, the self-proclaimed brains behind OWS has a not-in-my-backyard attitude. Professor Warren refused to sign an Occupy Harvard petition. Perhaps she thought her colleagues would find the lice, rapes and other OWS phenomena unappealing.

Obama initially wanted Warren to run the CFPB. He appointed her as a “consumer” czar before the CFPB officially began operations this July. Warren, however, was too controversial for Senate confirmation to officially head the CFPB.

Islam is not so much a religion as it is a militant, expansionist, political cult, and it devours whatever civilization and culture that had previously existed before islam got a foothold. Entire societies have been annihilated; the people enslaved, forcibly converted to islam, or killed, and their history erased, over and over and over again, all over the world.

It is not a “religion of peace”. Via Answering Muslims:

Is Islam a religion of peace? No. Islam is a religion that pretends to be peaceful when Muslims are too weak to win a war. Of course, there are many Muslims who aren’t violent. Many Muslims in the West love peace and tolerance. But they didn’t get these values from Islam. They got them from the West, and now they’re reinterpreting Islam based on their Western values. For dedicated Muslims, however, there are only two possible situations to be in: (1) fighting unbelievers, and (2) pretending to be peaceful while preparing to fight unbelievers. Either way, fighting non-Muslims and conquering the world in the name of Allah is always the goal.

        Via Sultan Knish:

Muslim grievances are the frustration of conquerors, the broken teeth of predators who weren’t allowed to feed on the world until their stomachs burst. All the lands they couldn’t conqueror, the peoples who rebelled against their rule, the inferior civilizations that pushed them back and drove them off. The swine who build skyscrapers and enjoy the fine things in life.
The civil rights model of social conflict resolution accepts grievances as legitimate and then tries to ‘heal’ through them through social justice. And when that model is applied to Muslims, it turns into empty appeasement because the conflicts at the heart of Muslim violence cannot be resolved through integration or representation. Applying the word “justice” in any form to a conflict involving Muslims is wasted ink.
The problem begins with a clash of definitions. To a citizen of a secular Western state, “injustice” means a lack of representation. To a Muslim, “injustice” means a lack of Islamic jurisprudence. A Non-Muslim state is always unjust simply because it is not ruled by Islamic law.
The fundamental Muslim grievance is that they are not in power, not just in Israel where the world has accepted their demand to be in power as a wholly moral and legitimate demand, or throughout the Muslim world where Western governments have helped bring the Islamists to power with bombs and political pressure. The fundamental grievance is that they are not in power… everywhere

Second, when government subsidies stop, the projects die.
Third, wind power has proven to be unreliable as a consistent source of power. There’s either too little wind, too much wind, or it’s too cold to operate them.
